First sketches of Merkury (formerly written as Mercury) were made in 2001 for the exhibition ‘From Mars: Self-initiated Projects in Graphic Design’. Merkury has since been redrawn and customised to various needs and projects before finally settling in its current form.
Characterised by its curious rounded character, Merkury is available in four weights with italics, and an additional Monospaced style based on Medium weight. It supports both Latin and Cyrillic languages.
